Formats, limits and image quality
Images are processed one at a time in a background worker. Limits: 100 files, 50 MB per file, 200 MB per batch, 24 megapixels per image, 48 megapixels total, 16,384 pixels per side and a 128 MB PDF. Browser memory is additional. Output uses your browser’s decoded 8-bit sRGB image; original metadata, color profiles and higher bit depths are not preserved. Animated PNG files are not supported. PDF size is not guaranteed to be smaller.
Convert PNG to PDF without uploading your images
Combine screenshots, scanned pages or diagrams into a single PDF on your device. This free PNG to PDF converter creates a downloadable file in your browser, with no account or watermark. Your images are not uploaded or saved in browser storage.
How to convert PNG images to PDF
- Choose PNG files, drop them into the converter, or paste an image from your clipboard.
- Use Move up and Move down to arrange the pages. Choose a page size, orientation, margins and how to handle transparent areas.
- Check the page previews and choose Create PDF. When it is ready, choose Download PDF to save it.
Combine multiple PNGs into one PDF
Each image becomes one page in the order shown. The move buttons work with a mouse, keyboard or touch, so you do not need to drag small thumbnails. Add more images or remove unwanted pages before creating the PDF. A damaged or unsupported file gets its own message; fix or remove it so nothing is silently left out.
A4, Letter or a page that fits your image
Fit to image makes each page follow its image dimensions at 96 pixels per inch, plus your chosen margins. A4 and US Letter use standard paper sizes. Automatic selects portrait or landscape separately for each page; you can also choose a fixed orientation. Images are scaled to fit without cropping, and their pixel dimensions are retained in the PDF.
Transparency, image quality and searchable text
Choose a white background for transparent image areas, or keep transparency. The converter embeds an 8-bit sRGB version of the image your browser decodes. It does not restore lost detail or preserve original metadata, higher bit depths or color profiles. Text in screenshots stays part of the image: this converter does not perform OCR or make that text selectable or searchable.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine PNG images into a single PDF?
Yes. Add several PNGs, arrange them in the order you want, and create one PDF. Each image gets its own page. The total image and file-size limits apply to the whole batch.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Image processing and PDF creation run locally in your browser. The page downloads its code and other website assets, but your images and PDF are not sent to a conversion server.
Can I use PNG to PDF on a phone?
Use a current browser with image decoding and background-worker support. Choose PNG files from the system file picker, arrange the pages with the move buttons, and download the PDF. Keep the tab open during creation. Available memory and download behavior vary by device; use a smaller batch if creation fails.
Will the PDF be smaller or have editable text?
Not necessarily. PDF file size depends on the images. This tool creates image-based pages, not editable text, and does not perform OCR. Keep the original PNGs for later image editing.
